YSL All Hours Concealer Review
While YSL All Hours Concealer has a limited shade range and doesn’t meet all the claims promised, it is still really solid. The matte formula looks natural on the skin and it resists creasing, caking, and fading while wearing.

All Hours is a matte YSL concealer that provides impressive coverage and long wear.
Yves Saint Laurent makes some beautiful, luxurious beauty products. I mean, just look at the bottles of Black Opium Parfum with its sparkly black packaging – beautiful! How about the iconic Touche Eclat Brightening Pen? Or, one of my personal faves, the Tatouage Matte Lip Stains. There’s several other goodies, and one is a concealer called All Hours. This YSL concealer promises a matte finish that provides full coverage without creasing. Today, I’m going to tell you what makes this concealer worth your pennies, and what to be aware of when using. So, let’s get into YSL All Hours Concealer Review.
Quick Rating Rundown
:YSL All Hours Concealer
Promises vs. Performance: This YSL concealer is resistant to heat, humidity, and touch.
All Hours Concealer is safe for all skin types, including sensitive, with its noncomedogenic, non acnegenic, dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested formula. The formula promises a 16 hour wear that won’t cake, crease, fade, or accentuate fine lines and wrinkles. A promise I love is that it will cover any imperfection, yet never look “masky” as YSL says. It features an ultra smooth, creamy matte finish that is “highly workable and blendable.” In addition, it has flexible pigments that resists heat, humidity, and touch.
My Review Thoughts: YSL All Hours Concealer
Taking a brush to blend in, I got a solid medium coverage from YSL All Hours Concealer during review with ease. And, it looked really pretty and natural on the skin. It definitely does have the matte finish YSL said it would, so I actually paired the YSL Touche Eclat concealer over top to give a bit more coverage, and help brighten.
Let’s Review How It Compares: Your love for YSL All Hours concealer will depend on the finish you’re looking for.
Good coverage and long, crease resistant wear are none of the things you’ll have to sacrifice with YSL All Hours Concealer. It is a highly pigmented formula and a little bit goes a long way in terms of coverage. It wears beautifully without looking heavy or cakey, and with very minimal creasing and settling. I will say, the shade range isn’t the best (only 16), and it is a super matte finish. Personally, I prefer something a bit more radiant, especially under my eyes. But, if you’re looking for a matte concealer, YSL All Hours is great.
If you’re wanting something with more radiance, there’s another concealer I recommend.
Dior Forever Skin Correct provides full coverage with a radiant finish. It’s one of my favorite luxury concealers in my collection that I reach for especially on those full glam days. It gives high coverage while not looking crease or heavy. But, if you layer too much product it can look heavy, so you do have to use a light hand. It has a much more inclusive shade range, too, with 30 shades to choose from.
Milabu Beauty Method: Love YSL All Hours Concealer, but want more radiance? Here’s my tips.
For this method, we’ll be using three products: YSL All Hours Concealer, YSL Touche Eclat Concealer, and Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder. And, you’ll need an application tool. My favorite is the Beautyblender.
- Apply your base of choice.
- Using the doe foot applicator of All Hours, dab a few dots of concealer under your eyes and on any imperfections you wish to cover. Take your Beautyblender and blend.
- Now, draw a few swipes of Touch Eclat under your eyes and on any other areas you wish to brighten. Take the same Beautyblender and blend.
- Set it all in place with Hourglass Veil.
- Viola! You have full coverage and radiance.
