Lets review TYMO Ring Plus Features
The centerpiece of our TYMO Ring Plus Review is, of course, the device’s upgraded features. The Nano Titanium Coating stands out, guaranteeing uniform and fast heat distribution, ensuring each strand receives optimal heat. This not only promises quicker styling but also a gentler straightening experience.
The straightener boasts nine adjustable temperature settings, ranging from 250℉ to 410℉, catering to various hair types and conditions. It’s ready in just 30 seconds thanks to the fast heat-up feature, great for those rushed mornings. The denser 3D teeth design ensures efficient styling, which is the most important feature of the design. Furthermore, the built-in Ionic System is perfect for those who deal with frizzy hair, ensuring smoother, shinier results. The array of safety features, including Anti-Scald & a 30-minute auto-off, solidifies TYMO’s commitment to user safety and convenience.
My Review Thoughts on TYMO Ring Plus Hair Straightener
Pros: Diving straight into the performance section of our TYMO Ring Plus Review, the Nano Titanium Coating genuinely delivers. The fast and even distribution of heat, paired with the 3D teeth design, ensures faster and efficient hair straightening. The digital controls are a breeze to use, and the Ionic Generator ensures frizz-free, lustrous hair results. Given its price point, it offers immense value. Kudos to TYMO for listening to user feedback from the original Ring and making outstanding upgrades.
Cons: However, no review is complete without addressing concerns. The absence of a heat monitoring safety circuit stands out. While other safety features are commendable, this would have made the product near perfect.
This is nearly a Perfect tool! I would not recommend any other hair straightener brush over this. I just can not believe other brands have not caught on to this tool. Oh wait there is one brand that did!
Comparison To Other Heated Hair Brushes
Lately, I’ve observed a surge in brands introducing their iterations of the Heated Straightening Brush, adopting the comb-shaped design. L’ange has made a notable entry in this space, while Shark has innovatively integrated the comb elements into their tool—a must-see in a recent article we covered. And, as expected, there are emerging Amazon variants making their way into the market. Let’s dive in and compare these newcomers against the pioneering Tymo heated hair straightening brush.
Overall, the heated paddle brush design does not compare to the heated comb brush design. The paddle brush design is outdated, and it has being replaced with the comb brush design, in my humble opinion.
Original TYMO Ring:
In the spectrum of hair straighteners, the original TYMO Ring set a commendable benchmark. It was loved for its innovative design and efficiency. However, our TYMO Ring Plus Review indicates that the newer model isn’t just an incremental update but a significant leap forward. The enhanced heat transfer material promises quicker and more consistent styling. The ion generator feature, absent in the original, now ensures that users not only get straightened but also shinier and frizz-free hair. The more refined digital controls add another layer of user-friendliness, making the Ring Plus an evident choice for those seeking the latest in hair straightening tech.

L’ange Smooth-it Comb Straightener:
L’ange has always tried to stay ahead, and their Smooth-it Comb Straightener is no exception. With its sleek design and advanced controls, it certainly promises an elite hair styling experience. However, when this product is placed head-to-head with the TYMO Ring Plus in our review, some differences become clear. The absence of the 3D teeth technology in L’ange’s offering is a noticeable drawback. While both tools boast impressive features, TYMO’s 3D teeth give it a distinct edge in terms of performance, ensuring the hair is straightened better and faster from root to tip with each pass.
Amazon’s Generic Version:
On the more affordable end of the spectrum lies Amazon’s generic hair straightener. While its budget-friendly price tag is tempting, the price reflects the product’s overall quality. The generic version lacks the rigorous quality controls seen in branded products, leading to inconsistencies in performance. Users might find themselves dealing with uneven heat distribution, limited features, or even safety concerns. When comparing the long-term value and reliability, the TYMO Ring Plus emerges as a clear winner, offering a blend of advanced features, safety, and consistent performance that the generic version struggles to match.
Here are a few similar Amzon Products. There are very similar brushes with similar prongs – Padcist Heated Hair Brush and EZBASICS heated brush. Both of these are worth looking at if you are looking to save some money.
Shark SmoothStyle Brush:
This seems like an odd Product to compare, but they have incorporated the comb element into their new creation. Check the full article on what it is.
