Just A Touch of coverage where you need it.
Trinny London is an all cream makeup brand, with products ranging from tinted moisturizers to eyeshadows, concealer, blush, and more. A cool thing about the brand is that all the products are formulated to be applied with the hands. I tested out Just A Touch, a 2-in-1 concealer and foundation made to give targeted, buildable coverage. Out of what the base products I’ve tried from Trinny London, this one has the most pigment and coverage (and a bigger shade range!). Let’s jump into the Trinny London Just A Touch Concealer and Foundation review.
Promises vs. Performance: A 2-in-1 lightweight concealer and foundation.
Just A Touch promises to provide targeted, easy to control coverage. Featuring a
“pigment rich, buildable coverage,” this cream concealer and foundation duo hides redness, blemishes, and pigmentation. The finish of this cream product is said to be healthy and radiant, never looking patchy. It should feel lightweight and breathable, never greasy. Just A Touch is formulated with skin loving ingredients, such as Physalis Angulata, which is known to help restore collagen.
My Review Thoughts on Trinny London Just a Touch Concealer and Foundation
I picked up three shades of Just A Touch to try out (Lulu, Lily, and Alison). The shades do translate differently on the skin compared to what they look like in the pot. They end up appearing lighter on the skin, so keep that in mind when choosing a color. I ended up using the lighter shade, Lulu, under my eyes and Alison on the rest of my face. It is a thicker cream formula, so I’m not sure how I would feel about this as a foundation like it’s advertised to also be. But, as a concealer, I got good coverage and it instantly brightened my skin.
Just A Touch blended in super easily with the warmth of my fingertips (Trinny London recommends applying all her products with the fingers). I loved the finish Just A Touch left on my skin: I looked healthy and dewy. And, it remained looking that way throughout the day! I will say, this isn’t the most long wearing concealer, but it does wear well. Like a lot of Trinny London’s products, it is a very stretchy formula that moves with your face, preventing creasing and settling into lines.
Quick Rating Rundown
:Trinny London Just A Touch Concealer
How It Compares: Just A Touch is similar to one of my holy grails, NARS Soft Matte.
I’m super excited to keep playing with this complexion product! I do think it is very similar to NARS Soft Matte Complete Coverage Concealer though. They are both a thicker cream formula and come in a pot. I find the NARS concealer to be more of a matte finish, while the Trinny London has a natural, radiant finish. While both offer buildable coverage, Soft Matte from NARS has more coverage that can be built up. I think the application of both are similar. They blend in really effortlessly with the warmth of your fingers or a brush.
If you have NARS Soft Matte in your collection, I’d skip this one from Trinny London. But, if you are looking for something a bit less full coverage or with a more radiant finish, Just A Touch would be a good option.
Milabu Beauty Method: Skip the hassle and use this concealer and foundation on light makeup days.
There’s a few different ways you can wear Just A Touch. It can be worn with or without a base complexion product, or even as a favorite foundation. My favorite way is to use it as a spot concealer on those no makeup days when I still want my imperfections concaled.
After your morning skincare, apply Just A Touch on any areas you want to conceal. For me, this would be my under eyes and any blemishes. Use your ring finger to blend in the product, helping melt it into your skin.
