It’s not every day you see a lip gloss with a $56 price tag, but Gloss Luxe from Tom Ford is that. This luxury lip gloss gives a beautiful high shine finish that just looks and feels stunning on the lips. The iconic Tom Ford packaging is also stunning – and heavy! The packaging of this lip gloss just feels luxurious and glam. Now, there are some products that aren’t worth their designer label and price, but this is one that I think is. Let’s jump into Tom Ford Gloss Lux Lip Gloss Review.

Promises vs. Performance: Gloss Luxe is a high shine luxury lip gloss.

“The next evolution of lip gloss,” according to Tom Ford who describes their Gloss Luxe Lip Gloss as a “liquid-balm” formula. Gloss Luxe is said to be weightless with a high shine finish that is a sheer to medium coverage. The formula is infused with avocado, olive, and jojoba oil to add moisture and hollow powders for lightweight comfort.

My Review Thoughts: Tom Ford Lip Gloss

Tom Ford promises their lipstick will hydrate the lips, provide impeccable shine, and a lightweight feel. Now, there’s one thing that isn’t lightweight about this product: the packaging! It is some hefty packaging that could weigh down a tiny purse. Keep that in mind for touch-ups! Also, if you’re sensitive to fragrances this gloss has a slight pineapple scent to it. It isn’t overbearing, and I think it’s a nice added touch.

But, the formula is definitely high shine and comfortable on the lips. I paired this gloss on top of their Lip Color lipstick and it gave me a beautiful glossy look. It is a tiny bit sticky, so this might not be the best option for a windy day. Even with the stickiness, this lip gloss wears comfortable on the lips. It doesn’t make my lips feel dry, and it doesn’t feel heavy on top of any other products.

Tom Ford is a name that just screams luxury. This lip gloss does too. From its luxe, iconic black and gold packaging to the high shine formula, Gloss Luxe is a must have for lovers of luxury. The liquid-balm formula gives lips a high shine finish that is weightless and comfortable on the lips. Providing sheer to medium coverage, it never feels heavy on the lips, yet adds a boost of moisture thanks to a blend of oils.

Crystalline is one of my favorite shades of Gloss Luxe. It is a gorgeous light nude with a pearlescent finish that pairs beautifully over just about any lip color. But, I must say: one of my favorite combinations is with Tom Ford Lip Color in shade Indian Rose ($58).
