This Lancome concealer is perfect for glam looks.
I love the sound of this concealer: full coverage, hydrating, and creaseproof wear? Sign me up! Like most people, I’m all about long lasting products that perform well. Lancome concealer, Teint Idole Ultra Wear, promises all of that and more. There’s several ways I enjoy using this concealer, from spot concealing on no-makeup makeup days to my full glam days. The versatility is just one of the reasons I enjoy this high performance concealer.
Promises vs. Performance: Lancome concealer promises hydrating, full coverage with a matte finish.
Teint Idole Ultra Wear Concealer promises up to 24 hours of hydration and comfort for both under eyes and all over the face. The formula is said to be ultra blendable, concealing anything from dark circles, blemishes, and redness. It features a natural matte finish that promises no creasing or caking. And, with the sweat-resistant formula it should last on the skin all day long. Featuring a full coverage, you can wear this concealer alone or paired with foundation.
Now, I don’t think this concealer is as weightless and lightweight as Lancome says, but, it is a super beautiful formula. I love the easy full coverage it gives me. The formula is super creamy as claimed and it blends out really easily. Despite it feeling on the heavier side, it doesn’t look heavy or cakey on the face which I love. I enjoy wearing this concealer by itself to conceal my dark circles and imperfections, or on those days I want a full glam makeup look.
I have no problems with this concealer lasting a full day, regardless of it I wear it alone or paired with foundation. It doesn’t crease, get cakey, or look heavy. This is a really beautiful, versatile concealer that I think many would enjoy.
Quick Rating Rundown
How It Compares: A good liquid concealer, but is it the industry standard?
Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Concealer provides easy full coverage. It has a creamy texture for ultra blendability. the long wearing formula doesn’t crease or cake despite how you wear it or how long. I love the versatility of this concealer, and how I can wear it alone for days I just want a bit of coverage or paired with foundation for a full glam look. It perfectly brightens under eyes while also blurring imperfections.
But, NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (rated ****4.3) is still the professional grade standard, in my opinion. This cult favorite icon has been around for years and never lets me down. It has a super lightweight feel while still providing a beautiful medium to full coverage, which is something I like about this concealer a bit more: the buildable coverage. There’s nothing I don’t love about this concealer’s wear.
How to pick between Lancome and NARS.
Honestly, I don’t think you could go wrong with either of these concealers. Both are incredibly versatile and stunning formulas. I would say it comes down to if you want an extreme full coverage concealer (Lancome) or a buildable coverage concealer (NARS). Radiant Creamy from NARS also has a larger shade range (30) versus Ultra Wear from Lancome (20).

Milabu Beauty Method: Here’s one of the ways I enjoy using Teint Idole Lancome concealer.
Hello, flawless no-makeup makeup!
- Prep skin with your daytime skincare. My routine is a liquid exfoliant, eye cream, some vitamin C, and a lightweight moisturizer. These are the products I’m loving: Summer Fridays Soft Reset AHA Exfoliating Solution ($56) and CC Me Vitamin C ($66), Murad Dark Circle Correcting Eye Serum ($63), and Naturium Gel Cream Moisturizer ($20).
- Using the doe foot applicator, dot concealer under eyes towards the inner corner and a swipe at the outer corner.
- Dot concealer on any imperfections or redness you wish to conceal.
- Taking a brush (I love the Rare Beauty Concealer Brush, $16), blend out the concealer.
- Instead of using a powder, set with a finishing spray. One I love to keep my complexion looking natural is Hourglass Veil Soft Focus ($48).
