Sisley Paris Phyto-Cernes Eclat N°1 is a stunning under eye corrector.

Raise your hand if you’ve ever spent over $100 on a concealer. I know, it’s not your average concealer buy, but I have a recommendation that is good and, in my opinion, worth every penny. Phyto-Cernes Eclat N°1 from Sisley Paris is a truly stunning formula that does exactly what it says: erases dark circles and signs of fatigue. This isn’t my everyday concealer, but when I need that extra boost of color correction, this is the one I reach for. Let’s review Sisley Paris phyto-cernes éclat eye concealer.

Promises vs. Performance: Will it cover my dark circles with no promises of coverage?

Phyto-Cernes Eclat N°1 is made to mask dark circles and other darkened areas with the help of ultra pure pigments. It targets puffiness and signs of fatigue with ingredients liked red vine, arnica, and ginkgo biloba. The formula visibly smooths fine lines and wrinkles as you apply, while the metal tip feels cooling as it glides across your under eye area. As you wear this Sisley concealer, it claims to help reduce the appearance of under eye bags over time. It also features caffeine to help wake up tired under eyes. After all, Sisley calls this a “tinted anti-dark circles product.

My Review Thoughts: Sisley Paris phyto-cernes éclat eye Concealer

I love this concealer. I do use it for more of a color corrector as it isn’t a full coverage concealer that hides every imperfection. But, it is beautiful. It gives me that extra boost on days my eyes look extra tired, while on no-makeup days I can wear this just for a bit of color correcting. It applies very easily and I love the cooling metal applicator. Phyto-Cernes wears really well with no creasing or settling into fine lines. And, it can be layered with just about any concealer. I’ve even paired this with a drugstore concealer, Ulta Beauty Full Coverage Concealer, and the combo was stunning.

The one thing I will complain about is the shade range. Phyto-Cernes Eclat N°1 is only available in 6 shades and is not a formula that will match every skin tone as a concealer. That being said, if using it specifically as a color corrector, I feel the shades can be stretched across many skin tones.

Let’s Review How It Compares: Sisley Paris phyto-cernes éclat eye Concealer

It’s not every day I shout from the rooftops that an expensive, luxury product is one you need in your collection. But, Sisley Pairs Phyto-Cernes Eclat N°1 is one I think is worth every penny of its $118 price tag. The metal tip feels cooling and de-puffs the under eye area as you apply product. The creamy formula is easy to blend in with a brush or fingertips. And, it wears beautifully. There is very minimal creasing or settling into fine lines and it keeps my under eyes looking fresh and awake all day. Another thing I like about it is that I can layer it with just about any other concealer for added coverage.

I get that this concealer isn’t for everyone, so I have a less pricey recommendations that are still some of my favorites. Dior Forever Skin Correct is, in my opinion, the standard luxury concealer. For just $36, you get an extremely high coverage formula that conceals virtually anything. It too wears with minimal creasing and settling, and gives a radiant, brightening finish.

Milabu Beauty Method: Correct and conceal dark circles.

There’s two ways I like to use Sisley Phyto-Cernes. First, I like to wear it alone as a color corrector on my no-makeup days to mask my dark circles. Second, for an added boost of color correction paired with a fuller coverage concealer.

  1. Start with your base product. I’ve been loving Fenty’s Eaze Drop Skin Tint ($32).
  2. Using the metal applicator on Phyto-Cernes, swipe some concealer under your eyes. I like to blend out using a brush. If you’re looking for a good concealer brush, I’d recommend Rare Beauty’s ($16).
  3. Next, take your favorite full coverage concealer. Dab a few dots of this concealer under the eyes. Using the same brush, gently blend into skin.
  4. Set with a lightweight powder. Hourglass Veil Translucent Powder ($46) is perfect for setting the under eyes.
