NARS Laguna Bronzer is a cult classic that we all know and love. While the powder formula is stunning, I’ve been fully converted to cream bronzers. Luckily, NARS got the memo of the cream bronzer revolution taking off and launched the classic Laguna in a cream version. And, let me tell you: this cream bronzer is a gem. It’s extremely pigmented, which I prefer, yet is so creamy and buildable. Basically, NARS Laguna Bronzing Cream is everything I want in a cream bronzer formula.

NARS Laguna Cream Bronzer comes in five shades with different undertones for sun kissed skin across all skin tones. This product was inspired by the classic NARS Laguna Bronzer powder, and shade Laguna 2 is the exact color of the OG! NARS cream bronzer claims to have a silky texture, seamlessly blending into skin for long lasting, “second-skin warmth.” Its scented with Monoï de Tahiti Oil, which is known to lock in moisture, firm, and tone the complexion.

The launch of NARS Laguna Bronzing Cream was one I was looking forward to, and once I finally got my hands on it, I fell in love (as expected). I chose shade Laguna 2 for my fair skin and it is the perfect color for both sculpting and warming up my face. Using my favorite brush for cream bronzer, the Makeup by Mario F1 Brush, it blended in so effortlessly. This bronzer is über pigmented, though, so start small and build to your desired intensity! But, because it is so pigmented it has an incredible long wear, which doesn’t accentuate skin texture and has minimal settling.

How It Compares: NARS Laguna Cream Bronzer is one of the best cream bronzer launches of 2022.

I just want to express how dreamy NARS Laguna Bronzing Cream looks on the skin. Its super creamy texture blends so effortlessly, really giving that “second-skin warmth” NARS promised. I love that this cream bronzer kind of combines a contour and bronzer in one: it gives a subtle sculpt while warming up my complexion! This makes it perfect for travel as it is a 2-in-1. Even though the shade range is on the smaller side, the available 5 shades do a great job covering fair to deep skin.

Another one of my faves, which I have dubbed the industry standard cream bronzer, is Fenty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Bronzer. This one is more of a true cream-to-powder formula and is definitely more foolproof than NARS bronzing cream. It gives a glowy bronzed complexion for all day wear with its sweat and water resistant formula. And, I’ve got to give it props, having a 7 shade range is pretty bomb. Fenty is known for their inclusive shade ranges and this cream bronzer is no different.

But, I’ve got to say: I love my cream bronzers and can’t get enough of them. I have added so many to my collection over the past year as brands continue to launch their own cream bronzer. And I truly believe cream bronzer is foolproof and easier to use than powder.
