Mineral Fusion Blush Review
Mineral Fusion Blush is an easy to use cheek color with natural, buildable pigment. But, you don’t get a ton of product for the price.

This Mineral Fusion Blush is a bit pricey.
Mineral Fusion is one of the OG natural drugstore makeup brands. In my opinion, a lot of the products are overpriced for what they are and their sizes. But, there are still some solid formulas in the lineup. One of these is their pressed power blush. Aptly named Blush, it provides cheeks a wash of color with a boost of radiance. As much as I wanted to dislike this product because of it’s size ($27 for .10oz/3g is a lot!), the blush is quite beautiful on the cheeks. Let’s jump into Mineral Fusion Blush Review.
Promises vs. Performance: Mineral Fusion Blush does what it says.
Get “sassy hues of instant radiance” with Mineral Fusion Blush. It enhances your natural cheek flush with buildable pigment, no matter if you want a sheer wash or a saturated pop. The formula is infused with skin-loving ingredients such as antioxidants (pomegranate, white tea, and red tea), sea kelp for hydration, and vitamins C & E for anti-aging benefits. Blush comes in six shades with matte and shimmer finish. Great for all skin types, including sensitive, the formula is hypoallergenic, talc free, and vegetarian.
My Review Thoughts: Mineral Fusion Blush
As the title of this review says Mineral Fusion Blush is small, but mighty. Even though it’s pricey for the amount of product ($27 for just .10oz), the pigment really packs a punch. It is a beautiful pressed powder formula that isn’t too powdery. It has a silky texture that blends easily onto skin, gliding over imperfections without exaggerating them. I picked up shades Creation (matte rose) and Pale (shimmering peach) and both are really pretty lighter nude shades. And, I’ve got to say I am impressed with the wear. After 10 hours of wear, I can still see the blush on my cheeks.
How It Compares: For the price, there’s better blushes out there.
In this review I’d give Mineral Fusion Blush a solid 3.5 star rating. It’s your classic blush. Easy to apply, buildable pigment with a decent wear time. There isn’t any extra wow factor to this one and there are better out there. I think, for the price, you can get a better performing blush. However, the ingredients of this blush are super clean and that’s probably more so what you’re paying for. I don’t think this blush is bad and I will continue to use it, but I probably won’t repurchase it in the future.
Even after all these years, NARS is still home to one of the best blushes (who hasn’t tried the infamous Orgasm shade at this point?). With 30+ shades and multiple finishes to choose from, there’s a color for all skin tones and every look. The finely milled powder blends in easily, building to your desired intensity.
If you’re looking for something more naturally formulated and talc free, here’s my recommendations.
Lawless Make Me Blush: This formula comes in two finishes, shimmer and matte. It’s extremely pigmented, yet buildable and long wearing for a flawless, smooth cheek look all day long.
MOB Talc Free Blush: This one’s cool because it comes in a refillable compact. It does only come in a matte finish, but it features buildable pigment with a long wear.
