Milani blush formulas are some of my drugstore favorites.
I don’t think I’ve met a Milani blush I don’t love. The powder blush formulas are stunning, and they have perhaps the best liquid blush at the drugstore. And, Milani doesn’t stop there: Cheek Kiss Cream Blush is beautiful too. This cream blush comes in four individual shades or a convenient palette. Ultra blendable and ultra wearable, this cream blush formula might become your new favorite. Let’s dive into Milani Cheek Kiss Cream Blush Review.
Promises vs. Performance: Get flushed cheeks with Milani cream blush.
Milani describes Cheek Kiss Cream Blush simply: “lightweight, buildable, and never greasy.” The balmy gel to cream formula can be worn on both cheeks and lips for a buildable wash of color. Its luminous finish will give a natural glow while spherical powders blur imperfections, enhancing skin’s appearance. The formula contains an infusion of skin loving ingredients like pomegranate, watermelon, and rose extracts, along with vitamin A, C, and E, to hydrate and brighten.
My Review Thoughts: Milani Cheek Kiss Cream Blush
Don’t let the swatch of Milani Cheek Kiss Cream Blush fool you, like it did at first during my review. In the pan, these look like one of those old school lip palettes, and they feel like them too. But, when they blend onto your cheeks, you’re left with a soft, luminous glow that doesn’t feel tacky or balmy. With a brush, the application of this cream blush is easy and seamless. Cheek Kiss has buildable pigment with great color payoff. You barely have to dip your brush into the pan to pick up product.
I love how easy to use Cheek Kiss Cream Blush is. With just the slightest tap in the pan, you the perfect amount of pigment for a wash of color. Layer more of the same shade or a different shade for a more vivid pop, or custom color. This Milani cream blush dries down to a powder finish and has a long wear. Although, I still recommend setting with a translucent powder to really lock it in place. This cream blush isn’t life proof, and heat/sweat/humidity can cause it to wear off faster.

How It Compares: Milani cream blush is one of the drugstore best
As mentioned above in the review when it comes to ease of use, Milani Cheek Kiss Cream Blush takes the win. Cheek Kiss is a creamy, blendable formula that is nearly fool proof. The soft pigment blends effortless onto cheeks, allowing buildable color for a customized look. Its balmy formula dries down similarly to that of a cream to powder blush, proving itself to last all day on the cheeks (especially when set with a powder!). This cheek product is great for all skin types with its lightweight, non greasy feel and natural, luminous finish. And, it’s perfect for all skill levels too – whether an experienced cream blush user or not.
But what is the best cream blush at the drugstore? In my opinion, it’s e.l.f. Putty Blush. These little pots pack a punch, and, at $7, are an absolute steal. Putty Blush has a slightly larger shade range (6 versus 4) that would suit more skin tones. It’s longer lasting on the skin, too. Putty Blush has a unique texture that melts into skin for an airbrushed, soft focus look.
