Milani 10 in 1 Mascara Review
Review conclusion – Milani 10 in 1 Mascara is just okay. It delivered intense black pigment, volume, and applied easily, but, for me, this wasn’t enough.

Is this Milani 10 in 1 mascara as highly rated as its name?
As Milani says, “Highly Rated Mascara is highly rated for a reason!” At least, that’s what the reviews say. I put this mascara through my test: does it do what it says, how does it apply, and how do does it wear? Not only that, but also to see how it stacks up against my holy grail(s). Spoiler alert: it stacks up in two out of three areas. But, is that enough to impress me?
Promises vs. Performance: Between volume, length, and long wear, it sounds like there’s nothing this mascara can’t do.
Milani Highly Rated Mascara is a buildable formula with a long wear promised to be free of smudging and flaking. It features an exclusive brush, dubbed the Highly Rated Elite mascara brush, that is tapered and full of densely packed bristles to comb through and separate lashes. Milani promises an intense black pigment that applies evenly and clump free. In addition to a long wear, Highly Rated Mascara promises to deliver volume, length, and definition.
My Review Thoughts: Milani 10 in 1 Mascara
To me, this mascara wand is pretty traditional. It features a tapered shape, with stiff, densely packed boar bristles. While I do think it applies pretty easily, depositing dark pigment, the brush isn’t my favorite. It’s pretty large and in charge, and you have to be diligent when applying to not get mascara on your eyelids. The formula is not as dry as expected it to be, but it seemed to add decent volume. I will say, I enjoy the application more than the wear of this specific mascara. Though it has minimal smudging and transfer, it has quite a bit of flaking. Picture it raining mascara flakes from your lashes!
Here’s a review thought you don’t want to miss, those with oiler skin or those who don’t like to set their under eye area may experience transfer and smudging with Milani 10 in 1 Mascara.
Quick Rating Rundown
:Milani Highly Rated 10-in-1 Mascara
Let’s Review How It Compares: I’m not quite sure what I think of this Milani 10 in 1 mascara.
An easy application and intense pigment isn’t enough to make Highly Rated Mascara highly rated in my book. I was expecting dramatic volume and super long lashes, but my result was pretty “meh.” I got both of these things, but not to the extend I was hoping for. The brush isn’t as elite as Milani describes; the larger size can be messy to apply and requires a careful application. I am thankful the formula is relatively transfer free for me, but I get a ton of flaking that I have to wipe away throughout the day. Wiping mascara flakes is not something I want to worry about!
For an all day wear, free of flaking, smudging, and transfer, I coat my lashes with Maybelline Lash Sensational. Not only do I get a beautiful long wear, but I get volume, length, lift, and definition. This is my holy grail mascara, whether I’m going for a natural, wispy lashes or bold, dramatic lashes.
