The lightweight formula is infused with Vitamin C to brighten the complexion and deliver skincare benefits with each wear.

Easy application, buildable coverage, pore blurring, and long wearing? There’s not much I can ask for from a skin tint! And, luckily the Maybelline skin tint checks all these boxes and more. Let’s start with the foolproof application. Whether you use a brush, sponge, or your fingers, it applies easily and the coverage builds easily. You can get anywhere from a light to medium coverage that hides imperfections without settling into pores and lines, or clinging to texture. It gives a beautiful, soft focus blurred effect on skin.

Even better, Maybelline Super Stay Skin Tint is long wearing. While I haven’t tested its full 24 hour claims, I’m happy to report it has an incredible wear for a a skin tint. I find it lasts a solid 6 hours on my skin before it starts breaking apart or my oils start peeking through, but even past that it still looks really good.

How It Compares: Is this the best drugstore skin tint?

Based on its ratings, Maybelline Super Stay Skin Tint may just be the best at the drugstore. The application is foolproof. It gives light to medium coverage while remaining weightless and skin-like. The finish can be described as natural, healthy radiance. It blurs pores, smooths lines, and doesn’t accentuate any texture on skin. And, finally, it has one of the best skin tint longevities I’ve come across.

What can be improved? It’s packaging does get dirty easily, and the shade undertones could be a bit better. But, overall, this Maybelline skin tint holds its own as a top performer. My favorite drugstore skin tint would have to be L’Oreal True Match Hyaluronic Tinted Serum. This one gives a light coverage with a radiant finish (more natural looking). It has a satin, non-greasy feel and lightweight wear. The texture is thinner, which, in my opinion, allows it to pair even better with a wide variety of products. It creates a stunning blurred effect on the skin, doesn’t accentuate imperfections, and doesn’t contribute to excess oiliness. And these are just a few of the reasons why I love this skin tint.
