Thanks to its gel-serum foundation formula, application is incredibly easy. The blend ability is note worthy because you can use your fingertips, a makeup brush or a makeup sponge. Depending on how much coverage you prefer or how glowy you want your skin to be any makeup application will do.

My favorite method to achieve maximum coverage with a glass-skin like finish is using a makeup foundation brush. iT Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe brushes are incredible and worth every single penny. A beauty sponge that’s lightly damp will still offer coverage but with a lot more glow than a foundation brush. This is my favorite makeup sponge, Beauty Blender Pro.

Texture and Finish
Foundation that settles into lines, pores, or textures can be a deal breaker. MAC Studio Radiance Serum foundation is a winner if you’re looking for a hydrated base. I find that even if a foundation claims to be hydrating or provide that glass-skin finish, it can still settle into my creases, enhance dry spots I didn’t know existed, and feel tacky. This is where the new MAC Radiance Serum Foundation shines. The finish and texture is stunning in real life. I’m left with a smooth finish, plump looking cheeks, a glow from within and no dry spots in sight.

I will pick on one thing in regards the glowy radiant finish. If you have combination skin or oily skin and prefer more of a satin finish foundation, this might not be your choice of makeup. Personally, I enjoy a glowy complexion, but sometimes with my combination skin type it can get a little too oily throughout the day. A couple of blotting sheets and loose powder throughout the day does the trick.
