Kosas Revealer is a concealer, eye cream, and spot treatment all in one.
Oh, concealers. So many claim to hide darkness under the eyes, to brighten, to cover acne and scars, and not to crease. The list goes on and on! Kosas’s Revealer Concealer aims to tick all of these boxes and more. Thanks to its skincare benefits, Revealer Concealer has landed itself on Byrdie’s list of Best Concealers for Tired Mom Eyes. It also found itself on an Allure list of best full coverage concealers, alongside cult favorites like Tarte Shape Tape, Dior Forever Skin Correct, and NARS Soft Matte. I was excited to test out this concealer and see if it lived up to its claims and the hype.
Promises vs. Performance: Can Revealer Concealer do it all?
According to Kosas, the Revealer Concealer is a medium coverage, super creamy concealer. In addition to being a concealer, it is said to work as an eye cream and spot treatment as well. This concealer claims to brighten and help skin improve over time. It contains caffeine to brighten, arnica to soothe, and hyaluronic acid to help plump skin. Kosas is a cruelty free, clean brand that is free of parabens, talc, PEGS, and more.
I picked up two colors of this concealer to test out, 1.5 and 2.5. Both are light shades with cool undertones. I used 1.5 under my eyes, and the darker shade, 2.5, on blemishes and redness I wanted to conceal. It blends into skin seamlessly for a buildable coverage. I did set this concealer with the Kosas baked setting powder (which I love!). The shine of the concealer still peeks through the powder. The wear of this concealer held up with very minimal creasing, and it still looked nice after a long day of wear.
I’ll have to test out the eye cream and skin improving claims further. But, in the mean time, I’m impressed with this concealer!

How It Compares: Does it beat the iconic NARS?
If you’re looking for a new concealer, I’d put Kosas Revealer on your list to check out. It is a lightweight, brightening concealer that easily covers unwanted blemishes, redness, and dark circles with its medium to full coverage formula. Revealer Concealer follows through on its promises and wears beautifully throughout the day with virtually no creasing. But is this the industry standard? There’s still just something about the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (rated ****4.3) that keeps it at the top. It’s been around for years and has claimed icon status. It provides radiance and lightweight coverage that never feels heavy or cakey. Radiant Creamy Concealer is one that never lets me down and works for so many different skin types.
I will say if you’re looking for a higher coverage concealer with clean ingredients and skincare benefits, Kosas would be one to check out. It’s on my radar and I will definitely keep playing around with it!
Milabu Beauty Method: Conceal dark circles and blemishes.
Here’s my favorite way to use Kosas Revealer Concealer.
- Begin with any base complexion products (primer, foundation).
- Using the doe foot applicator, swipe a bit of concealer on the inner and outer thirds of your eye. This will help brighten the inner corner, while helping to create a lifted effect. I recommend blending this concealer out with a brush. My favorite is the Rare Beauty Concealer Brush ($16).
- Apply concealer to any blemishes or redness you wish to cover. Blend out using the same brush.
- I like to set this concealer with a powder. It layers really well with the Kosas Cloud Set Setting Powder ($34).
