Holy glitter! Hourglass Scattered Light will draw all the attention to your eyes.
I don’t know about you, but I love some glitter eyeshadow. Whether used sparingly in the center of the eye in a halo look or all over for a wet eye look, glitter is always necessary in my opinion! And, contrary to what the magazines said all those years ago, you’re never too old for a little glitter! In fact, if used correctly, it doesn’t enhance texture or lines. One of my personal favorite glitter eyeshadow formulas is the Hourglass Scattered Light, a pressed glitter eyeshadow that is simply stunning – let’s review it.
Promises vs. Performance: Will there be fallout?
Hourglass calls Scattered Light a hybrid cream formula, a “weightless refined glitter eyeshadow.” The cream-pressed glitter formula is infused with reflecting pearls that create sparkling eyes. Its formula is buildable to create a subtle shine to an intense, glitter eye. Scattered Light has a weightless formula for smooth, comfortable wear. Hourglass recommends applying this glitter eyeshadow with the fingers for best results.
My Review Thoughts: Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow
This is a rare product that I had a pleasure to review, Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow. Glitter that can be worn alone or over any shadow look for a nice pop? Sign me up! Hourglass Scattered Light is a unique cream formula that doesn’t feely super creamy, yet isn’t super powder either. The consistency reminds me of a pressed glitter, only this one has way less fallout. Simply pick up some product your finger or a flat brush and pat onto your eye for intense shine. The glitter sticks where you place it without falling all over the face. Plus, the formula feels undetectable on the skin and has an all day wear. It dries down smooth, not chunky, and has little to no creasing or fading.

How It Compares: This is the best glitter eyeshadow in luxury beauty.
If you want all the glitter without the mess, Hourglass Scattered Light is for you. As mentioned above in the review, these Hourglass Scattered Light cream pressed glitter eyeshadow pots pack a punch of sophisticated, wearable glitter. The opaque formula can be worn alone or overtop of any eye look for even more dimension. Scattered Light has virtually no fallout when applying or throughout the day. And, you don’t have to worry about your eye look disappearing – this wears on the eyes all day and night with little to no creasing or fading.
For true glitter eyeshadow, few do it better than Hourglass. Scattered Light is an absolutely stunning formula and, in my opinion, worth every penny. But, there are several other glitter/shimmer/metallic eyeshadows out there depending on the formulation and look you’re going for.
