Flower Beauty does some products well, but is mascara one of them?
I put both Flower Beauty mascaras to the test to find out which is better. It was a showdown of Warrior Princess versus Lash Warrior. My criteria is this: have an easy application, do what it promises, and have a decent wear. I wanted to see which formula applied better, wore better, and, ultimately, made my lashes look better. For me, Lash Warrior is the winner. This formula gives me long, defined lashes and has the longer wear out of the two. Though, it isn’t a perfect mascara (and not my all-time favorite), it is a solid cleaner option at the drugstore.
Promises vs. Performance: Flower Beauty claims statement making length and fierce volume.
Flower Beauty promises an extra 150% of volume and extreme length with Lash Warrior Mascara. It features an exclusive ‘Spiked Warrior Brush’ with 360 degrees of spike bristles to coat each last, root to tip, without clumping. In addition to length and volume, Lash Warrior promises defined, fierce lashes. Now, we’re talking!
The Spike Warrior Brush helps to separate and define lashes, but I don’t get the length and volume expected. The wand can clump a bit, especially towards the outer lashes. I will say, I am impressed with the longevity of this mascara compared to Flower Beauty’s other mascara (Warrior Princess). While it can smudge and transfer some to the lower last line, it did so more towards the end of my day of wear rather than right in the middle. It also has minimal flaking, which I always appreciate!
Quick Rating Rundown
:Flower Beauty Lash Warrior Mascara
Volume, Length, Define
How Flower Beauty mascara Compares: Not every mascara is a winner, and that’s okay.
While the claims and brush of Lash Warrior Mascara remind me of my beloved Lash Sensational from Maybelline, it does not pass the test. Lash Warrior provides volume and definition, but not much of anything else. The wear comes along with smudging and transfer on my lower lash line, and the application is a bit clumpy.
But, with Lash Sensational, I get the whole shebang: volume, length, definition, curl, separation, and a long wear. I can easily wear this mascara for over 10 hours without worrying about smudging, transfer, or flaking. The curved wand actually provides lift and doesn’t clump when applying. If you wan’t fierce lashes, Lash Sensational will deliver.
