Flower Beauty Dream Warrior Mascara promises fluffy, lifted lashes.
I don’t ask a lot from my mascara. I just want it to have minimal flaking, smudging, and transfer while adding some volume, length, and lift to my lashes. Personally, I don’t think that’s too much to ask for! And, mascara is one of my favorite products to test out. There are so many bomb formulas on the market, it can be hard to figure out where to start. The Drew Barrymore makeup line, Flower Beauty, is home to a lot of products I enjoy (I love the concealers!). It’s also home to several mascara formulas, from Lash Warrior to Princess Warrior to Dream Warrior. Let’s review all things Flower Beauty Dream Warrior Mascara.
Quick Rating Rundown

Promises vs. Performance: How will it wear?
Flower Beauty Dream Warrior Mascara is described as a “cloud-like, fluffy formula” that lifts lashes with the combination of the Lash Lift Brush and Cloud Boost Technology. The exclusive Lash Lift Brush is made of bio-based bristles that grip and lift each lash, building volume as you layer. The Cloud Boost Technology/Cloud Cushion Technology is a blend of waxes that enhance the weightless formula for ultimate lash lift while olive oil and vitamin B5 amplify volume and sheen. Flower Beauty doesn’t make any wear/longevity claims.
My Review Thoughts: Flower Beauty Dream Warrior Mascara
At first glance, this is an interesting wand! It’s slightly tapered, with both short and long bristles that look like they’d be prickly. But, surprisingly, it’s comfortable to apply and the stiff bristles actually aid in an easy root-to-tip application. It separates lashes, while lifting and lengthening. The formula builds well, and the volume can be built up depending on how many layers you apply and the look you desire.
I had high hopes for this mascara since it applied effortlessly and made my lashes look beautiful. It’s wear was less than stellar, though. I can deal with some flaking, but the amount of flaking from this Flower Beauty mascara was pretty insane. Not only did it rain mascara flakes under my eyes, but there were even flakes stuck on my eyelids. It didn’t smudge and transfer a ton, but there was some.
Let’s Review How Flower Beauty Dream Warrior Mascara Compares To Others
With the way the Flower Beauty Dream Warrior Mascara applied, I was really hoping for a solid wear. It was easy to apply, volume was buildable, and the pigment was pretty intense from the get-go. But, the wear left a lot to be desired: it was so incredibly flaky.
Realistically, there’s so many good drugstore mascara formulas out there. But, my all-time favorite is Maybelline Lash Sensational. With this formula, I get everything: volume, length, definition, curl – you name it. The formula keeps my lashes lifted and fluffed all day long with a long wear free of smudging, transfer, and flaking. To me, this is the perfect drugstore mascara, actually fit for a princess.
And if you’re looking for a clean formula, there’s a solid one at the drugstore: Covergirl Lash Blast Clean Volume. This mint blue tube packs a punch with application and performance. Definition, length, and longevity? I’ll take it.
