Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush: For a fresh wash of color.
While Rihanna’s made a huge impact in the music industry, since 2017 she’s also become a major competitor in the beauty industry. When I first tried a full face of Fenty Beauty products, Rihanna’s soft matte foundation and vibrant eyeshadows were standouts. I also fell in love with Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush. Easy to use, blendable, and long wearing, this product gives my cheeks a natural pop of color that has major payoff. Because there’s ten color options to choose from, just about everyone can find a shade that suits their complexion.
Promises vs. Performance: Fenty Blush – Blendable and light? Natural and long lasting?
Fenty’s website claims that Cheeks Out Cream Blush is light, non greasy, and melts into skin for an effortless, youthful glow. The line features 10 sheer shades that all give a natural, no fuss flush of color. Fenty says it “makes it look like you’ve been getting sun, sleep, and plenty of water on the reg” (don’t we all want that?!). The colors look ultra vivid in the pan, but, fear not, they are a sheer, buildable finish. And, you don’t have to worry about this cream product on those hot summer days as this formula is sweat and water resistant.
I have to agree with all of Fenty’s claims for Cheeks Out. It’s easy to blend as promised and the pigment is beautiful. I have the shade Petal Poppin and love the natural pink warmth it gives my cheeks. This creamy product adds to my natural beauty look without overdoing it, for a fresh no-makeup makeup look (think: clean girl makeup aesthetic). Because it is easy to build, you can create a bolder look by layering more product. It’s super user friendly, even for those intimidated by cream blush. By the end of a full day of wear, the rosy flush is still visible and proves a sweat proof wear.

How It Compares: Does another cream blush deliver a natural glow like Rihanna’s?
Overall, I have a great experience whenever I use Fenty Cream Blush. Fenty Beauty delivers on its claims of being a lightweight, creamy, blendable, and easy to use blush. I especially love the fun shade range, with a bright orange and unique purple shade! Cheeks Out is incredibly easy to use and sits at an affordable price point in pro-grade beauty.
I want express my love for ROSE INC Blush Divine. My, oh my, is this blush stunning! Personally, I think the formula is even easier to work with than Fenty Cheeks Out. It blurs pores and lines and wears all day, never accentuating any imperfections. And, the natural radiant finish is just dreamy. It is a little pricier at $30 a compact, but you get added skincare benefits and refillable packaging (each refill is just $18!). In my opinion, Blush Divine can do no wrong.
Milabu Beauty Method: Apply a perfect pop of color in 3 easy steps.
I love how effortless this cream blush is to apply. Following just a few steps yields a glowy pop of pigment.
- Dab a fluffy face brush into the product. Fenty has an awesome cheek brush ($34) that works well with both powder and cream blush formulas.
- Stamp the product onto the apples of your cheeks and the top of your cheekbones. You can even extend it to your temples for an extra flushed glow.
- This cream blush is quite forgiving, meaning it’s easy to blend. Sweep the brush upward to blend the pigment and lift the face.
