e.l.f. Primer-Infused Blush: Perfect pigment that won’t budge.
e.l.f.’s got their cheek products down. From Putty Blush to powder options, their blushes have gorgeous, long lasting formulas. One that I adore is E.l.f. Primer-Infused Blush. This product is a standout because of its true color payoff. When I first tested this powder blush, I couldn’t get over how pigmented it is for the price! If you’re looking for daytime makeup, or if you want to get flirty on date night, try this product. The seven peachy, rosy, and spicy shades are perfect for anytime you want to create a cute makeup look.
Promises vs. Performance: This blush is moisturizing with a matte finish.
e.l.f.’s website boasts of the amazing ingredients in their Primer-Infused Blush. The blush contains jojoba seed oil, which locks in moisture. It also has shea butter, which nourishes skin. And it contains bamboo stem powder, a unique ingredient that helps control shine, for a truly matte finish. All these ingredients work together to create a smooth and soft formula. Better yet, the formula provides a buildable medium coverage with incredible staying power (just as the name claims, it’s primer infused!).
One of my favorite shades is Always Cheeky. I always love how the deliciously peachy color compliments a sunset eye look (e.l.f. New Classics Eyeshadow Palette is perfect for a bronzed eye). After the all day wear test, my cheeks still looked incredible thanks to the primer infused formula. e.l.f. Cosmetics promises seamless blending, and they deliver. I easily achieved even coverage as I swept this product onto my cheeks. Because the formula is very pigmented, a little goes a long way. In fact, it’s so pigmented that I sometimes find myself needing to stipple a foundation brush over my cheeks to soften the intensity. But, you can easily build a higher level of color payoff by adding more product. Versatile, affordable, and performs – talk about a win!

Milabu Beauty Method: 3 steps to give cheeks a perfect pop of color.
Applying blush may seem straightforward, but e.l.f.’s Primer-Infused Blush is extremely pigmented. (As in, one dip into the product is enough). Here’s how I use this product for just the right amount of color.
- Lightly dip a fluffy brush into the powder foundation. Make sure you use a light hand! If you’re worried about picking up too much product, the fluffier the brush, the better. You can also tap off any excess product before applying.
- Starting at the apples of your cheeks, use small sweeping motions to apply the product up and towards the outer portion of your face. To blend, swirl your brush over the product on your cheeks.
- If you’re going for a more daring look, build the blush by layering the product with a fluffy brush, pressing it into the skin. If your blush becomes too intense, try stippling a foundation brush over top to lessen the intensity.
And there you have it! Three simple steps to achieve the level of pigment you want.
