I compare three top cheap flat irons on the market under $20! We have Remington, Conair and Revlon. I test how each flat iron straightens each section of hair with only one pass and of course how each hair straightener curls hair. Each one has it’s own pros and cons!
Comparison to Standard:
Every time I use this flat iron to straighten my hair, I am blown away by the results. I love this flat iron for straightening the hair. This flat iron is not as good for curling hair because of the ridges on the packaging and the packaging isn’t curved like the Conair or Remington. It is very sharp and square.
For a basic flat iron though, this is a great value tool. You are not gonna find a better flat iron in this price range. The plates come to the edge of the packaging, making getting in the roots really easy. If you are looking for something really cheap, do yourself a favor and give this flat iron a try.
It really held it’s own against the Remington and Conair, but the Remington gave slightly smoother, more consistent results.
Revlon Essentials Smooth Results will make it easy to style your hair. The easy-to-use flat iron is designed for creating the latest trends. The ceramic-coated plates help protect hair from over-styling with even heat distribution that penetrates and styles from the inside out. This allows the Revlon ceramic flat iron to give you smooth, shiny results. The slim, 1″ plates get close to the roots for ultra-straight and sleek looks that will make your hair feel like you went to a salon. The Revlon ceramic straightener boasts 400 degrees F high heat for fast styling, so you are ready to go in no time. It has two heat settings, which will allow you to choose the one that works best for your hair. There is also a light on the handle to indicate that it is on and working so that you know when it is hot.
