Magic Away: This Charlotte Tilbury concealer is a beauty secret weapon.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer gets the job done fast. It’s a beauty secret weapon for instantly brighter, more awake looking eyes. This product is full coverage and great at hiding blemishes and under eye darkness. And why not use this smooth, blendable perfecter to test Megha Singh’s TikTok hack for a liquid face lift? When you use this concealer in the right places, like in the inner and outer corners, you can easily achieve a noticeably elevated eye look.
Promises vs. Performance: Magic Away has ingredients to eye lift and an applicator to eye hug. Love!
bevy ton of awesome brand claims about the power of this concealer wand can be found at CharlotteTilbury.com. They promise full coverage and several skin enhancing effects. Unique ingredients like palmitoyal glycine and extract of wild indigo are supposed to smooth lines and provide skin luminosity. Forget that fox eye thread lift, the Persian silk tree bark extract in this tube can “contribute to the illusion of a lifted upper eyelid,” as well as reduce the appearance of darkness, lines, and wrinkles, they say.
And how about that sponge tip? First, use the twist-up packaging to dispense product into the cushy applicator sponge. Then roll the concealer where you need it, especially letting it “hug the under-eye contour” for a flawless application. It all sounds magical indeed. But how did it work for me?
In short, I love the concealer but struggle with the packaging. The product fulfills its promises of full coverage ability to erase dark circles and blemishes. That, and it instantly improves the look of the eye area, leaving it brighter and looking more awake. Its creamy texture also melts into the skin for a natural concealer appearance. However, although the sponge applicator is nice, the sleek tube comes with a lid that just gets gunky with product over time. It can also be difficult to control how much makeup comes out when using the twist dispenser. Regardless, Magic Away is a great product and one of my favorites by Charlotte Tilbury.

How It Compares: Is any other concealer as magical as Magic Away?
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Concealer has an impressive bag of tricks. It can cover imperfections, lighten and brighten dark circles, and enhance the eyes and skin with radiance boosting ingredients. The formula is easy to work with, even if the packaging is not. It’s worth considering for anyone who has something to hide, except for the natural glow of their skin!
Despite all of this deserved praise, there is another concealer in the same price range that just might have more love. That’s NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. Perhaps you’ve heard of her? This celebrated mainstay is still considered the go-to standard product of its kind with it’s creamy formula, lightweight feel on the skin, and longevity that doesn’t crease or cake.
Whether you decide to try Radiant Creamy Concealer or Magic Away, you’ll have the power of creamy, supreme coverage at your fingertips. And for that lifted eye look, either concealer will do the trick.
Milabu Beauty Method: Say bye, bye to dark circles under your eyes with this Charlotte Tilbury concealer!
Here’s a trick to make dark circles go poof!
- Twist the applicator to dispense product into the sponge tip applicator.
- Apply the product to a concealer brush by tapping the brush onto the sponge. This step helps controls how much product you use, and helps to prevent the lid from getting gunky too fast. One of my favorites is this Concealer Brush from Rare Beauty ($16).
- Use the brush to sweep concealer under the eyes and anywhere else you want coverage. A little does a lot!
- Draw an upward line with the sponge tip from your outer eye corner into your hairline. (An extra step for lift!)
- Using the same concealer brush, blend the line upward into the skin.
