Anastasia Brow Freeze comes in a round tin with a screw on cap. Anastasia Beverly Hills claims that this styling wax will lift and set brows in place all day. It’s supposed to be mess free, easy to apply, and have extreme hold. Best for those with medium sparse to full bushy brows, this brow wax should stay in place with no stiff feel, residue, or flaking. 

My Review Thoughts on Anastasia Brow Freeze

This product doesn’t come with any tools, so you’ll need a spoolie brush to apply. One of my favorites is the ABH #12 Brush ($18).

I applied Brow Freeze in the suggested method by placing a spoolie in the wax and working it into my brows. I expected the wax to feel hard and stiff, but to my pleasant surprise, it was soft and lightweight. Just like Anastasia Beverly Hills claimed, it wasn’t messy to apply. A little product went a long way, too: Just one dip into the wax coated my entire brow. This product instantly created feathered, lifted brows. It didn’t leave any waxiness, stiffness, or residue. I can effortlessly draw hairlike strokes with any brow pencil or pen on top of this wax.

However, this wax isn’t long wearing. After a full day of wear, my brows lost some of their shape, especially at the tail. I think this product is a good first step to shaping brows, but I would still use a brow gel on top. Gel usually gives my hairs a stronger hold, for all day use. But, for a no-makeup day where I still want fluffed brows, this one will suffice.

Compared to other brow wax products in the professional grade range, Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze is the best. While other wax products can feel heavy, Anastasia’s is extremely light. It has a much stronger hold than most eyebrow waxes, but it isn’t the longest wearing product out there (for maximum hold, I recommend topping off with a brow gel). After using Brow Freeze, your brows look natural, just with added lift. This product allows other brow tools to be used effortlessly and precisely, for defined and fuller looking eyebrows.

I think eyebrow wax is a perfect first step to creating the look of thick eyebrows most of us desire. But how exactly should Brow Freeze be applied for the best results? Here are my six steps to creating bomb brows.

1. Dip a tip of a clean spoolie into Brow Freeze. Remember, a little wax goes a long way, so be sparing!

2. Rub and spin the spoolie against the lid. This should work the product into the spoolie while removing any excess product.

3. Using light pressure, comb the spoolie through your brows, making sure to coat every hair. Use upward strokes for a feathered look.

4. Use the spoolie to create your desired brow shape. This clear wax has quite a bit of playing time before it dries down. AKA, plenty of time to create perfectly shaped brows!

5. After the wax has dried, use a brow pencil to fill in your brows with hairlike strokes. One of my longtime favorite pencils is Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil ($24).

6. This step is optional: Top it all off with an eyebrow gel. This ensures that your hairs stay lifted and never budge. Better safe than sorry, right? I recommend an OG gel, the Benefit 24 Hour Brow Setter ($24).

Tip: Anastasia Beverly Hills’ website says this product can be used to tame unruly hairs around the hairline. If you’ve got flyaways, this wax may be your saving grace!
